My obsession for Delpozo quadruples every season.  The playful color choices and sculpted structure absolutely blows my mind. This morning I caught myself gawking over these runway images and drooling on my keyboard. Practical or not, you can't help but admire the talent and craftsmanship that goes into this collection.  Congrats Josep on yet anotherah-mazing execution!

I'm still trying to balance this whole work, me and joy thing for the new year.  After being a workaholic for so many years, it's tough to get into a new routine of taking time out to focus on myself.  I'm trying as best as I can to schedule a little "me" time and everyday.  Whether it's a power walk or just browsing at the mall, exercising more is my first priority and these gorgeous sneakers are just the right amount of motivation I need!

As I dive back into my blog and prep for the new year ahead I needed some inspiration.  The winter weather has me dreaming of spring and fantasizing about bold color choices and floral patterns. When you throw in some glitter and visions of vintage design, I'm a happy girl. Thanks Gucci, for continuing to amaze me.

Happy 2016!  As it may seem I'm a bit late in celebrating the new year, I'm really just getting started. Have you ever experienced one of those pivotal moments in life when you almost wanted to smack yourself upside the head, because the answer you've been looking for was right in front of you? Flashback 3 weeks ago to new year's eve. I headed out early to catch dinner and a movie before the infamous champagne toast, and saw the movie Joy with Jennifer Lawrence.  As the credits rolled, my entire mindset changed.

It's time for me to take my annual holiday break and enjoy some much needed time off.  I'm ready to sleep in, eat too many sugar cookies, reflect on the past year and plan for the new year.  This is a been an extremely difficult year for me. In fact, I'm not quite sure how I made it through. I'm hopeful that 2016 will bring happiness, health, success and a whole lot of love. As I head into my 9th year blogging, you will start to see some big changes around here, so I hope you will continue with me on this journey. Warm wishes to you and may 2016 be your best year yet. This is a project I've been working on for a few months now and I'm happy to finally show you the results!  Working from home has many perks, and having a beautiful work space that inspires me has forever changed my creativity and focus.  Most days I shut the door, turn up the music and put in a 10-hour work day, while Lucy (the furry bestie) sleeps and snores way too loud.  There are times when I end up doing laundry or watching an HGTV marathon instead of creating content or doing mundane research, but for the most part working from home is a dream. When you have a dedicated space at home to work, I highly recommend that you transform it into a place that inspires and motivates you.
